Domaine Martinolle-Gasparets

The estate is located in the heart of the mountain region of Corbières, on the terroir of Boutenac, an arid territory of the department of Aude. It has been a family property across many generations. Mr.Martinolle is attached to tradition and makes authentic wines in a traditional way, in line with nature. All of these wines are vinified and kept in the family cellar.

Domaine Martinolle-Gasparets - 2015 - red

Carignan 40 %, Grenache Noir 40 %, Syrah 20 %

Harvesting at optimum maturity, sorting and destemming before vatting in cement vats.
Bottled by the family of Mr. Martinolle.
Tasting: chambered (16-18 °). Beautiful deep purple color. Fresh nose of jammy black fruits (blackberries and blueberries). Bright attack and fine acid notes of blackcurrant. Full mouth, spicy and elegant, subtle texture where the flavors of ripe fruits are confirmed. Precise and straight-lined final with notes of garrigue of beautiful length.
Keep 4 to 7 years.

Pairing dishes: ideal as an aperitif, on skewers of offal, a couscous or a caramelized rabbit. It also highlights spicy dishes.

Manual harvesting at optimum maturity, sorting and destemming before vatting in cement vats.
Traditional winemaking, fermentation in cement vats, followed by maturation in oak barrels for 12 months and aging for further 12 months.
Bottled by the family of Mr. Martinolle.
Intense and deep ruby color with garnet reflections. Expressive nose, the notes of garrigue and cherry pits with peppery accents are perfectly balanced with the smoky and spicy notes with hints of buttered bread that overtake to delight your taste buds. Delicate and woody, it provides a good length in the mouth.
Serve at 16-18 ° C.
Cellaring 5 to 8 years.
