Collioure Appellation

Domaine du Traginer

Driven by passion, tradition and quality, Jean-François Deu has been growing wine since 1975 at the Traginer Estate, which consists of 16 hectares of carefully selected vines. The vineyard is made up of narrow terraces that benefit from an exceptional climate and exposure, sandwiched between the sea and the mountain. Literally diving in the Mediterranean, the Côte Vermeille is probably amongst the most spectacular regions of France.
Much of the vineyard is ploughed by a mule guided by its "traginer", which means a mule driver in Catalan.
Very low yield (approximately 17 hectolitres per 2.4 acres) and very concentrated wines.
Certified organic since 1997. Biodynamic since 2001.
